Trocabrahma Podast Episode 5: Four Tet meets Open Field Church plus Street Art Collaborations

November 12th, 2007 Posted by Andrea

Four Tet and Open Field ChurchFour Tet finds out how a group of musicians, and non-musicians, in Sao Paulo came together to found the Open Field Church, a group of friends who perform a cappella versions of indie classics. Hear how Four Tet fused his intricate electronica with their enthusiastic singing, and marvel at their eclectic repertoire.

Meanwhile in the UK, a street artist from Sao Paulo, Speto, collaborated with three UK graffiti writers to improvise around the themes of Trocabrahma and create original artwork on the walls of London, Liverpool and Glasgow. Street art co-ordinator Andrea McCarthy paints a picture of the process (with photos on the enhanced version of the podcast and in the www.trocabrahma.net blog) and we hear from artists around the UK and Sao Paulo.
