May 8th, 2007 Posted by Dougal

Dougal and GraffitiDougal Perman is the programme director of Radio Magnetic and makes radio programmes about many styles of independent, alternative music and is particularly interested in exploring new cultures. Radio Magnetic work in many aspects of new media, including blogging, podcasting, RSS and other interactive media. The underground music internet radio station is highly acclaimed and has been covering the best of the alternative scene in the UK since March 2001.

They love all of the artists involved in TrocaBrahma this year. They’ve worked with some of them before and are really looking forward to working with the rest. When Dougal isn’t making new media programmes he writes, makes music himself and has DJed parties in places like Scotland, England, Spain and Indonesia over the past fourteen years. He loves using new technology in production and DJing but has a passion for no input mixing too and recently got given a theramine for his thirtieth birthday! After TrocaBrahma he hopes to add a Gatorra to his collection of instruments. He and Tiff have challenged Bonde Do Role, Amanda and Radioclit to an all star game of Jenga.

Hey Doug, hope you are enjoying brasil. You must give us a toon on the theramine sometime at PC - providing you don’t do any Alison Goldfrapp moves! And BTW you cannot be thirty! Surely a missprint.
Much love from (old) uncle jim and anti(!) Rose.
